Managing Partner, Jan Allen

Drawing from 20 years of international client management, sales and operational experience in complex and demanding start-up, unwind, M&A, business restructuring and outsourcing environments, Jan helps individuals, teams and organizations to achieve targeted business and personal development objectives.

During her career Jan has managed large multinational customers, wholesale carriers and distribution partners as well as created, led and transformed cross-functional, multi-cultural organizations of 100+ to deliver results.

During university, Jan worked in the legal and software industries and completed several international internships. After graduating, Jan started her career on Wall Street, later moving into telecoms where she worked her way up the ladder from a sales account manager responsible for domestic US customers to a General Manager with global client management, P&L, operational and multi-cultural people management responsibilities. Her last corporate role was as the General Manager & Client Director for British Telecom's outsourcing contract with Procter & Gamble in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region.

Passionate about the business case for Diversity and Inclusion, Jan also specializes in the realm of trans-cultural awareness and gender diversity and spent 5 years on a multinational corporate diversity board where she won awards for being a catalyst for change. Some of her achievements on this front include launching a corporate women’s network, creating a partnership with other multinationals that advanced gender diversity at the senior management/executive level and providing coaching and mentoring support to assist many women to progress into leadership positions.

American by birth, Jan is a true global citizen after having lived and studied in the US, Europe and Australia, holding several roles with global responsibility and traveling extensively on 5 continents. After living the last 14 years in Belgium with her husband and 2 sons, she is now a citizen of that country also. Jan speaks fluent English, advanced Dutch and French, and holds a Masters of Science in Management from Boston University, a Bachelors of Arts in French Literature from Rutgers University, and a Master Practitioner Certification in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP). Jan is continuously adding to her professional skills through study and training at top-notch institutions and is currently finishing an ICF and EMCC Coaching and Mentoring certification course.
